I Have A Dream Foundation

Newark, New Jersey

The "I Have A Dream" Foundation of Newark serves forty Dreamers. The Dreamers began the program in 1st grade at Burnet Street School and are now 6th graders at various schools.* They will continue to receive academic tutoring, enrichment opportunities, mentoring, and more throughout their elementary and high school careers. Upon graduation from high school, the Dreamers will receive tuition assistance scholarships for college or vocational schools.

“I Have A Dream” programs operate year-round. Programming is designed to enhance Dreamers’ academic performance and social skills, and provide Dreamers with new experiences.
